My Name is Adam Linkenauger,  owner of Freak Athletics llc.  I am probably the most passionate person you will ever meet in regards to vertical jump training you will ever meet.

I was a small, in-confident little twurp as a sophomore in high school. In fact,  I was unable to touch the net on a basketball goal!  Pretty crazy right?  Regardless though, my love for jumping

could not be lessened, as I spent the next year of my life building my vertical leap using the methods I found through trial and error, and some studying!

I was fortunate enough to pick up high jumping (track and field) and learn the art of “how to jump” and “how to train” from my track coach.  My training pushed me to some pretty awesome

achievements in high school, picking up awards like State Championships, All American Honors, and even a National Championship!  Sometimes I still have to pinch myself on all the success that has

come to me based on my love for jumping, and my willingness to work and become the best.  You truly can do anything!

After high school, I earned a Scholarship to Clemson University, where I took my knowledge of jumping higher, and training to jump to a whole new level with Division 1 and Olympic Coaches!  Wow,

it was an incredible experience to say the least!  I had an awesome career at Clemson, and met some incredible people!  I was even selected as the ACC Freshman of the Year!  This was an incredible honor for me!

I had a pretty awesome career.  Won 7 ACC High Jump Championships and even became a professional athlete!  After all that happened, I picked up the basketball again (I forgot to mention I had over 30 dunks my senior year of high school ) and started doing trick dunking!

I was the kid my sophomore year of high school who was teased and told I would never dunk!  A few years later guess what!!

I was selected as the 2009 Powerade National Dunker of The Year, and had my dunk video on a Powerade Commercial!  Talk about an honor!  It was incredible!

Since then I have been coaching high jump at schools like Clemson and Virginia Tech, as well as started writing training programs, offering free info, and just spreading the word on athletic training!  It’s been
